Q: What is a bibliophile?
A: A book lover who expresses his or her affection for the written or printed word through the collecting of books, usually by a particular author, or on a theme, topic or subject.

Q: How do you know you are a bibliophile?
A: Various ways... which include: You know how to identify a first edition. You own multiple copies of the same book, and know the differences in the printings. You check vacation destinations for possible libraries with rare books to visit. Your significant other has caught you sneaking more books into the house. A newspaper advertisement for a sale on shelving has you adjusting your weekend plans.

Q: What do you do if you are a bibliophile?
A: Learn to dust frequently. Come to dinner meetings with other sufferers of "the gentle madness."
